Residential Care at Whitchurch House

We provide full time residential care, respite care and day care in single occupancy rooms, larger double rooms are available for couples or those who require extra space or wish to bring items of furniture. 

A homely environment

Some of our ground floor rooms have direct access to patio and garden areas. We encourage residents to individualise their own room with personal items, pictures, ornaments, or small items of furniture – anything to feel at home. All rooms are private and individually decorated, they are well furnished and equipped with call bell systems, smoke detectors, flat screen TVs and Internet signal, with the majority having en-suite facilities and some with wet rooms. In addition to the room facilities there are numerous bathrooms, shower/wet rooms and toilets located around the building.

Care assessments

The level of care each individual requires is assessed prior to joining us and care needs are constantly monitored and reviewed throughout their stay. This enables everyone to live a comfortable and fulfilling life as far as possible, without the loss of independence and dignity.

Private and Funded care

Whitchurch House is conveniently situated to provide residential care to Herefordshire, Monmouthshire and Gloucestershire. We offer accommodation to private and funded residents from all other counties throughout the UK. Fees vary according to individual care needs, the types of accommodation and the length of stay. Our Managers will be pleased to advise on costs and details of any services that may be required.
